Blenheim Palace (Duke of Marlbourghs home and birthplace of Winston Churchill) 4th June the MasterCraft CSX arrives courtesy of The Ski Boat Zone after a request from Tim Woodhead and Matt Crowhurst.
In a couple of weeks time MasterCraft will be the official towboat of Relentless Wakestock ; a wakeboard and music festival in the grounds at Blenheim Palace.

Some time ago the first VW diesel engine to be fitted in a Prostar was carried out at the Ski Boat Zone by a team consisting of our own engineers and a couple of the VW marine guys. The sucess of this led directly to the VW being fitted at the factory as an option for the Prostar and the big twin engine models.
So here we are a couple of years later and its time to put the VW into a single engined wakeboard boat and where better to fit it !

Southampton boat show is a time we always look forward to and once again The Ski Boat Zone and West Quay Marine had a stand there. On the stand were Adam, Mark, Neil and Lydia (who got very excited when she spotted sea rabbits "lupus aquarius" in the harbour). Our salt water boats are always well received and at last we are seeing a decline in people saying "these are only for lakes". Who said you can't be in two places at once!
On the 15-17th June 2007 The Ski Boat Zone along with Simon from MasterCraft exhibited at theSouth Wales Boat Show in the beautiful setting of Margam Park near Port Talbot. We took along our exhibition unit ( yes the paint was still wet) a 245 SS and the radical new CSX. The first open day of the year for The Ski Boat Zone took place just outside of Chelmsford, Essex at South Woodham Ferrers water ski club, The club is one of the biggest boat owning clubs in the country and the ski boat zone was there to support the members getting together and watching our riders riding behind the Mastercraft X-Star.

At the Southampton boat show last year Ian Birdsall (Mr MasterCraft for those that dont know) suggested that he and I look at the latest marine diesel engine that VW were developing,they made some claims that I found hard to believe but you have to respect the guys at VW so the decision was made to test it.Arrangments were made shortly after the show for a new Prostar to be fitted with the engine for evaluation.
